Halt Fire does not accept responsibility or warrant performance for part used Halt fire suppression devices or for those damaged by inappropriate storage or handling (please refer to our website https://gethaltfire.com for recommended practice). Do not use outside stated temperature range.

Handheld fire suppression devices are for first response (initial low ferocity) firefighting and are not suitable for large or deep seated fires.

This device is supplied only for the use for which it is designed and must not be used under any circumstance for any other purpose whatsoever. Do not play with, interfere with, or abuse this device in any way or discharge the contents other than to extinguish a fire.

Do not test prior to use. This device is single use only and cannot be serviced.

Withdraw from service if the tamper seal is missing

Halt recommends the user to carry out the following inspections at least monthly.

Check that the device:

  • is in its proper place.
  • is unobstructed, has visible and legible operating instructions facing outwards.
  • is not obviously damaged.
  • has seals or tamper indicators which are not broken or missing.
  • Within expiry date.

If any of the above points are not the case, then the user should arrange for corrective action.

SDS (Safety information) are obtainable from the manufacturer upon request.

We confirm that Halt extinguishing agent has been third party performance tested against set performance criteria relating to small class A, class B and grease fires.

Halt Fire does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to property or human life when Halt fire suppression is used and we do not give guarantee, or warranty, or suggest, or imply that this product will extinguish all fires, regardless of fire type or origin.

After any use, the Halt fire suppression device must be fully depressurized and disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Do not attempt to disassemble.

If the device is outside expiry date or damaged including unclear, faded or instructions, then depressurize and disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

This device is a pressurized vessel and must not be pierced, dented, or subjected to external damage, fire or disposed of in a fire.

Halt Fire shall have no liability for any damage caused by the customer’s failure to observe guidelines. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
